Acoustic Resonance Analysis

Acoustic resonance analysis is a nondestructive and comparative testing method. The sample is stimulated by an external strike or vibration. The resulting resonance spectrum will be recorded and processed with a suitable measurement system. Afterwards the obtained data is tested against the resonance spectrum of the master parts.
Benefits of Piezocomposite solutions
Due to their adaptability piezoelectric high-performance drives are ideally suited for different testing methods. Piezocomposite actuators can be adapted to generate:
- Pulses of high energy,
- With a high repetition of the pulse parameters, as well as
- Vibrations up to 60 kHz.
With both variants multiple tests can be made on one sample in a short period of time.
