Mirror Mounting Clamp (K-190-00)

The PSH 1 - 4 mirror tilting system series consists of two (e.g. PSH 1) or three (e.g. PSH 1z) active piezoelectric actuators. These actuators provide tilt to the top plate on up to 3 axes. By using all actuators together the top plate exhibits a piston movement up to 8 µm. Two of the axes are perpendicular to each other.

Their construction is temperature compensated so that changes in environmental temperature do not affect the tilting angle. The tilting mirror mounts are preloaded, thus they are extremely well suited for dynamic applications. One of their main advantages is a high resonant frequency. That's why this system can provide sub-msec response time.

A closed-loop version with integrated positioning control is available for high positioning linearity and repeatability. Non-magnetic material and other customer size requirements are available upon request. The PSH 1 - 4 mirror positioning system series is designed for mirrors and optical components up to 50 mm in diameter.

For mounting of other components on the top plate, thread and pin holes are available. A special mounting clamp can be provided for these systems to avoid torque forces between the housing and top plate when mounting the mirror or other components.
