new amplifier series: ENV 300
piezosystem jena presents a unique new series of voltage amplifiers: The modular elements of the ENV 300 series provide a 300 mA permanent output current. These elements have been especially designed for low voltage piezo elements and are produced as 19" casing version. The actuator's voltage current is monitored on the integrated LC-display.
One of the special features is the very low voltage noise of the output current, only 0.3 mVRMS - therefore these amplifier systems are ideally suited for positioning applications requiring sub-nm resolution. Additionally, the elements feature protective circuits which prevent voltage spikes when switching the unit on and off. Consequently, this also averts any overload caused by overheating or short-circuit. The new soft start ensures an actuator-safe activation of the system. Optionally, the ENV 300 voltage amplifier can be equipped with measuring amplifiers for capacitive or strain gauge measuring systems and the adequate controller electronics. With the electronic PID controller, these systems can operate without any drift or hysteresis.
