Incremental trigger function: New feature available on piezo digital amplifiers
· user optimized due to individual data selection
· advanced triggering possibilities
· time and cost savings
When monitoring and controlling in experiments, it is not always possible or necessary to continuously observe all the data. Besides the lack of time for evaluation, the amount of data will often exceed the available storage capacity.
Now with the use of the incremental trigger function, offered by piezosystem jena, you can easily select the important data for your experiment.
Using a trigger signal, data can be acquired, controlled and target oriented, allowing the researcher to obtain the desired information only.
With the new incremental trigger function the operator defines a point in a periodical movement where the trigger impulse should start. The operator then has the possibility to determine a second trigger impulse in the subsequent period with a defined incremental interval e.g. at 10 µm travel after the first triggering. This can be done again and again until the scanning process over the complete travel has finished. The same process can be implemented at the backwards scanning until reaching the initial point.
The new trigger feature is a very valuable addition to the already well equipped digital piezo amplifiers from piezosystem jena.
