Your Chance

As part of a team of developers from a wide range of disciplines, you can take responsibility for bringing our positioning systems to life with your ideas. With us, you will meet colleagues with a wealth of experience who will be happy to share their knowledge with you. You will receive comprehensive training and take on responsibility for firmware and hardware projects yourself in the future.
Your tasks
- Developing hardware and firmware for embedded systems:
- Support of hardware development (PCB), circuit diagram and layout creation and preparation and maintenance of parts lists (BOM)
- Development of firmware for microcontrollers (e.g. STM32, Renesas, AVR, etc.)
- Commissioning, testing and debugging of hardware and firmware with subsequent transfer to production
- Verification of hardware and firmware with the help of functional and integration tests and error analyses
- Maintenance and further development of existing systems
- Documentation of the development processes
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
- Experience in analog and digital circuit development and PCB layout (e.g. with Altium Designer)
- Knowledge of firmware development with C/C++ and Python
- Confident handling of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN etc.
- Experience in measurement technology (e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
- Problem-solving skills, structured way of working and ability to work in a team
- High level of curiosity and willingness to take on challenging tasks
- Good knowledge of German and English
Preferable
- Experience with PCB CAD and circuit simulation software
- Knowledge of EMC-compliant development
- Basic understanding of control and data processing algorithms
- Experience in the use of versioning tools (e.g. Git)
- Initial knowledge of certifications and standards (e.g. CE, ISO, UL)
